Visual Anthropology of a City Underwater
Afërdita Onuzi, etnographer
The series of talks on the exhibition "Safet e Gjylzade Dokle" began with a conversation with Prof. Dr. Afërdita Onuzi, one of the first and most passionate researchers in the field of Albanian ethnography. Her approach started with the images from this archive to construct a visual anthropology of old Kukës, now submerged underwater, whose memory is materialized today only through photography.
