Getting to know the Aromanian-Vlach Music
Mikaela Minga, musicologist
The music of minorities in Southeastern Europe is a unique example of how different ethnic groups have coexisted in these countries, sharing parts of their culture. In her talk, the musicologist Mikaela Minga presented several significant points regarding various styles and genres, starting precisely from the early recordings of traditional dances by the Manaki brothers.
The talk was part of the program of European Cultural Heritage Days dedicated to the exhibition and work of the Manaki Brothers.
