Atheism Museum

This exhibition shows images of the Atheism Museum that are preserved at the Marubi Museum archive. The space is divided in two parts: on the one hand the cult and ecclesiastical architecture that is adapted to the new cultural needs of the communist regime and on the other hand, the objects seized to clergy and exposed with ideological interpretation
The museum was closed in 1990 and currently some of its objects are shown in the Diocesan Museum of Shkoder. To this day, it remains an example of the regime's utopia, of the need to create a new world and along with it, new beliefs.
