The photo reportage educational ateliers consist of a series of workshops based on Michel Setboun's exhibition "The photoreporter at the right time, in the right place," which features images of Albania from the 1980s to 1991, including the collapse of the regime and other related events.
These sessions with high school and university students encourage reflection on the communist past while fostering event analysis and critical thinking.

A series of workshops conceived as treasure hunt throughout the city aiming to discover buildings and monuments we encounter daily but have lost their original functions or have been completely abandoned.
Participants are shown old photographs from the Marubi archive in order to reconnect with the history of the city and sensitize about the importance of heritage care and preservation.
This time they discovered some traces related to events and personalities involved in the Albanian Independence.
This activity was organized in collaboration with Regional Directorate of National Heritage (DRTK) Shkoder.

The ‘E Ka Kush e Ka’ series seeks to include children and adults in a series of books and games through which they discover and rediscover cultural heritage as a bridge, linking us to the complexities of the world around us.
‘Don’t get mad Shkodra’ – is a board game which traces the cultural heritage of the city of Shkodra through its buildings, events, characters, riddles, poetries and songs in a path full of unexpected encounters, enthusiasm and adventures throughout the historical memory of the city.

Carnivals are an old tradition of Shkodra which is celebrated each year with a program of events.
To join the celebrations, students of the art school ‘Prenkë Jakova’, Shkodër, decorated masks donated by Venice Art Mask, using collages with photographs from the Marubi collection.

For the museum it is important to use cultural heritage as a way to approach communities who find it difficult to access the museum. The workshop was organized with students of the Roma community from ‘Liria’ school in Shkodra offering them the opportunity to learn about the Marubi archive and create a photographic backdrop through photo collages, drawings, paintings and sketches. The backdrop is a tribute to the Marubi dynasty and when recreated by children, aims to raise awareness about the legacy of the photography studio.

Participants organized in groups answer the questions about the selected images in a process which aims to enhance their creativity in the detailed study of the images.
