The National Museum of Photography “Marubi”, in collaboration with the Alinari Foundation for Photography and with the support of the Italian Institute of Culture in Tirana, announces the holding of the international scientific conference titled:
“The Influence of Italian Photographers in the Mediterranean Countries during the 19th Century.”

The conference will explore the significant impact of Italian photographers who traveled across the Mediterranean, established photographic studios, and developed professional practices that continue to live on in local traditions, artistic sensibilities, and the visual documentation of the region.
